About us
Founded by husband and wife team of Mayank and Urvee, Distinct Photography Australia is a Brisbane based, family owned photography business specialising in sports club photography, team and individual portraits, creative athlete portraits, and family photo fundraisers.
We work with sporting clubs, schools and community organisations to create professional photography while making the entire process as simple as possible for committees, coaches, managers and families.
For us, a successful photo day isn't just about taking great photographs. It's about having an organised process that works for the whole club.
We Understand Club Photo Days
Photographing hundreds of players across multiple teams requires more than great photography — it requires planning and organisation.
Our workflow is designed specifically around high-volume club photo days. We work with clubs to plan the photography schedule, keep teams moving efficiently on photo day, and manage the editing, production, sorting and preparation of orders afterwards.
From planning through to photography, setting up online store for clients to place order and delivery, we manage the process from start to finish.
More Than Traditional Sports Photos
We create modern team and individual sports portraits and creative athlete imagery using professional studio lighting and creative post-production.
Our goal is simple: to create sports photographs that players are proud of and families will enjoy looking back on for years to come.
Trusted by Local Clubs & Organisations
We value long-term relationships and love returning each season to see familiar clubs, teams and families.
We are proud to be affiliated with the following organisations:
Photography That Gives Back
We also offer Family Photo Fundraisers for schools, sporting clubs and community organisations.
Families have the opportunity to receive professional portraits while a portion of the booking proceeds goes directly back to the participating organisation.
Great photographs for families. Additional fundraising for your organisation.
Meet Urvee & Mayank
We're Urvee and Mayank, the husband and wife team behind Distinct Photography Australia.
As parents ourselves, we understand how quickly the sporting years pass. One season becomes another, kids change teams and jerseys, and before long those photographs become part of a family's history.
That's one of the reasons we love working with local sporting clubs and community organisations.
We combine our love of photography and creativity with an organised approach to photo day, making the experience enjoyable for players and straightforward for the volunteers and committees running the club.
We hold valid Queensland Blue Cards.
